Halo has announced two Halo 3 events taking place this year.

The first is a HCS Invitational being held in Austin, TX on March 15th-17th. The focus of this event will be a six team showdown between the top six placing teams at the UGC Halo Classic. There will also be some exhibition matches featuring pro players, content creators, fans in attendance and lucky Microsoft Store competitors. The announcement also states “And while most of the competition will be centered around Halo 3 – wouldn’t it be fun to watch pros compete across all Halo titles? 🤔 Stay tuned for more details later this month.” The event will be broadcasted and operated by Next Generation Esports (NGE), who have put on productions for Fortnite, Vain Glory, Rocket League, Clash Royale and more.

The second event announced is a DreamHack Dallas Halo 3 4v4 tournament. The tournament will take place on May 31st-June 2nd as a part of the HCS Grassroots program.
