Over on Waypoint, Postums has posted an update about the Halo: Reach Xbox PvP flight and upcoming PC flight. In it, he mentions that about 50,000 Halo Insider registered users were invited to the Xbox PvP flight. Some were from previous Halo Insider flights, some were new to the program, and the rest were players with high engagement in MCC over the past month and a half. A number of people were chosen, but their emails were not registered so they were not able to be notified of the invitation, which Postums acknowledges was a mistake on their part. Players who participated in the stress test on Saturday, October 5th that played 5 or more matches received the MCC Insider nameplate, while players who played 12 or more matches have received the MCC Insider Pro nameplate. In the end, the test was considered a success.
The PC flight is still being worked on, with the teams working over the weekend to try and resolve any blocking bugs. Currently, 343 is anticipating that the flight will last a week, but certain parts like Multiplayer and Firefight may change. Here’s what you can expect to see in the flight:
