HCS Charlotte Results – 2/26/2023

The 2023 HCS season kicked off this weekend at the Kickoff Major in Charlotte, North Carolina. There was a $250,000 prize pool up for grabs for the Top 16 teams. We saw the LAN debut of a bunch of new rosters that competed in the Open Bracket, Pool Play, and Championship Bracket. One of those teams, Native Gaming White, fought all the way through the Open Bracket, made it out of Pool Play into the Championship Bracket, and finished the tournament in fourth place. In the end, however, the top three teams consisted of familiar faces. OpTic and FaZe faced off in the Grand Finals and took it all the way to a final Game 7 in a series we will remember for a long time. Below are the Top 12 teams from the tournament along with the final results of the Free-For-All. You can view the Open Bracket, Pool Play results, and Championship Bracket over at Esports Engine’s Halo portal. To view the VOD’s, head to HCS’s YouTube channel.
