The 4k Open Series started with in each region with Qualifiers. The top teams (12 from NA, 6 from ANZ/EU/MX) by total HCS Points that registered auto-qualified for Pool Play in the 4k, while the fourth and final spots in each Pool were determined from the Qualifiers. The top three teams at the end of Pool Play advanced into the double-elimination Championship Bracket with the fourth team from each pool eliminated from the tournament. The prize? Some cash and a doubled amount of HCS Points than a normal Open Series tournament would reward.
