Guide to HCS Arlington Major Hosted by OpTic Gaming

The HCS Major in Arlington, Texas is the next stop this year for the HCS. Hosted by OpTic Gaming, the tournament will be held at Esports Stadium Arlington.

  • Friday, June 30th – 9:30 AM Player Check-in | GA doors at 11 AM CST
  • Saturday, July 1st – 9 AM Player Check-in | GA doors at 10:30 AM CST
  • Sunday, July 2nd – 9 AM Player check-in | GA doors at 10:30 AM CST

There are no COVID requirements for entry.

All attendees will have to undergo a metal detector and bag check security screening. All bags and purses must be soft sided and not exceed 16” x 16” x 8”. Backpacks are prohibited, except for single-compartment drawstring bags that do not exceed the bag-size requirements of 16” x 16” x 8”.

FORMAT
  • LAN (Global) – Open
  • 4v4
  • Open Bracket – 96 team cap, double-elimination (Top 4 teams from Winners Bracket advance to Pool Play.)
  • Pool Play – 16 teams (Top 3 teams from each Pool advance to Championship Bracket.)
  • Championship Bracket – 12 teams, double-elimination
  • FFA – 512 player cap
AGE REQUIREMENTS
  • Spectators under the age of 18 require signed parental/guardian waiver form
  • Spectators under the age of 13 must be accompanied by parent/guardian
