Europa Halo Blackpool

Europa Halo have announced their very own LAN in their region. Europa Halo Blackpool takes place this November in the UK at Winter Gardens Blackpool. The HCS Grassroots-partner gave us some more details on the upcoming LAN, which has sold out of team passes, but still has spectator tickets for sale.

One week prior to the event on November 4th, an online seeding tournament will be held to help create a more competitive bracket at the LAN. The seeding tournament will be seeded by player points earned during Europa Halo x NAVI’s Summer Series.

Day One of Blackpool will consist of a Group Stage. Eight groups of four teams will compete, round-robin style in best-of-five series until each team has played the others in their group once. The top two teams from each group will move on to the double-elimination Championship Bracket. All of the series in the Champ Bracket will be best-of-five except for the Winner’s, Loser’s, and Grand Finals which will be best-of-seven.

The prize pool is set at £7,500. The Champions will receive £4,000, runner-ups will win £2,000, third place will get £1,000 and fourth place will earn £500.

The tournament will begin on Saturday, November 11th and end of Sunday, November 12th. As mentioned, spectator tickets are available for £34.50 and can be purchase at the Winter Gardens Blackpool website. If you can’t make the LAN in-person, you can catch the stream at Twitch.tv/EuropaHalo.
