343 has added a ranked Halo World Championship FFA Qualifier playlist to Halo Infinite. HCS has announced that they will be selecting one player from the Onyx rank and one from below Onyx once the playlist ends (September 26th) to win a trip to compete in the the $25,000 Halo World Championship FFA Tournament in Seattle, Washington next month.
Each winner will receive round trip coach airfare from the closest major airport to their home, four nights at a hotel, and admission to the Halo World Championship for themself and a guset. The winner will also receive an invitation to compete in the FFA Tournament at the event. Winners will be notified via Xbox Live in their messages from the gamertag “Tashi” with what steps to take next.
The maps in the playlist are Aquarius, Arglye, Live Fire, Recharge, Streets, Empyrean, and Solitude. Players will start with battle rifles and radar is disabled.
