College Halo has officially announced that registration for the Fall 2022 season is now open.
For seven weeks the regular season will follow a Swiss format, followed by a double-elimination bracket in the playoffs. Starting on October 3rd and ending on November 20th, matches will be played weekly on Tuesdays at 8 PM EST. Matches can be rescheduled but must be finished before midnight the following Sunday. In case of a tiebreaker, a Wildcard Round will be held starting on November 28th. The Playoffs will take place on December 2nd and 3rd with an extra day being added if needed. At the end of the season, first place will take home $1,000, second will receive $500, and third will win $250.
To be eligible, players must be enrolled as a full-time student (taking 12+ credits) at an accredited university in the United States or Canada. Players must also maintain a 2.0 GPA while competing and will be subject to random grade checks throughout the season. If a player is below the age of 18, a legal guardian must provide consent to the Official College Halo rules, which can be found here.
