After the announcements of Deadzone’s (formerly known as Penguin) departure from Spacestation Gaming and APG’s split with OpTic, many assumed that former would be joining the OpTic roster. OpTic has made it official:

Deadzone isn’t joining the team unfamiliar with his teammates. During the MCC tournament period after Halo 5, he teamed with Lucid and Trippy at the 2019 UGC Halo Classic in Illinois and again with Trippy at the Red Bull Rise Til Dawn event as well as the UGC Halo Classic in Atlantic City.
Deadzone was apart of the Cloud9/Spacestation Gaming roster since Halo Infinite released and has never placed lower than third at at LAN event with that team.
